Pro branded News Channels increase visibility and engagement by consolidating news in one place, providing up-to-date information and positioning you as a trusted source. You can share company announcements, thought leadership pieces, and industry news, positioning you as a leader in your field.

PRIORITY SUBMISSIONS

At Scoop, we pride ourselves on being an open platform for news submissions from all over New Zealand and beyond.

Every week we receive thousands of submissions from a variety of sources, including organisations and individuals, our editorial team then carefully select the most newsworthy stories to publish based on our Editorial Criteria. Despite our best efforts, many valuable stories may go unpublished due to the sheer volume of submissions we receive.

That’s why we offer Scoop Pro Advanced and Premium organisations priority consideration for publishing their news on our platform.

This means Pro member submissions are fast-tracked to the front of the queue, this applies to the first 5 news items submitted each month with Advanced subscriptions and the first 10 with Premium subscriptions (links and images permitted). We also allow edits from our Pro members with priority submissions (all submissions still need to meet our Editorial Criteria to be published).

PRO NEWS CHANNELS

Newsfeed
A News Channel on Scoop is a powerful tool for boosting visibility and engagement by consolidating news in one place, providing up-to-date information and positioning you as a trusted source.
With a News Channel, you can bring together multiple bylines into one channel. You can also add a 100-word profile about your organisation, along with an image (such as your logo or a photo) and contact links.

Advanced News Channel – Your organisation can have a Branded News Channel on Scoop that can also have up to four custom contact links. These links can be used to direct readers to your website, social media pages, or team contacts. With the Advanced Channel your logo will also appear at the top of all your published news items on Scoop, creating greater brand recognition for your organisation. Branded News Channel also have ‘ad-free pages’ which means cleaner pages for readers. As a trusted source, News Channel’s also allow your stories to have links in them.

Premium News Channel – This takes your News Channel to the next level with full width story pages and your full profile added to the bottom or all your stories on Scoop.co.nz, providing readers with a comprehensive view of your organisation and how to contact you. In addition to your logo and profile, you’ll have four additional contact links (so up to eight contact links in total) that can be used for other email, phone contacts, or deep linking to specific parts of your website or social media channels.

By having a News Channel with this information, you make it easier for readers to take action, such as emailing your organisation’s contact, calling, visiting your website, or following you on social media. This not only helps readers engage with more of your content, but can also lead to increased sales and brand awareness.
